I was there as a: Overnight RV'er, Family with children
Just spent the weekend at Shamadon Resort and we had the BEST time ... despite a bunch of rain. The park was lovely and spacious. There was a good mixed of residents and transients. Many sites were available with lovely new concrete pad for the RVs. Our site was treed and private with a nice fire pit. Bathrooms were super clean and available. The lake was fantastic - for swimming and fishing. The sandy beach was lovely to dig in. The pool was lovely - clean and warm. People were friendly. Kids loved the bouncer and the playground activities. There were peacocks and babies to check out. Lots of walking trails and biking trails to explore. We had fun feeding the koi in the dedicated koi pond. They were super organized when we arrived and gave us a lovely cup as a welcome gift with salt water taffy inside. Overall ... this was our best experience in an RV camp ... ever. Looking forward to another adventure maybe this fall ... but definitely next summer.
