I was there as a: Overnight RV'er, Single person/couple
We used the 1000 Islands/Ivy Lea KOA Kampground facilities on Thursday the 6th of June and Friday the 7th of June 2019. Thursday night was everything we expected. It was very quiet after the "quiet hr of 10 pm" and the guests were all friendly and respectful. Friday night was totally different. We didn't expect outdoor radios to be quite so loud or blaring after 11:00 PM. It continued quite late and well beyond the 10:00PM curfew. If the campground cannot enforce the curfew than why have one? Where does one go after hours when the office is closed? In the morning I complained to your front desk. They offered to talk to the guests that were guilty. It was of no use because the damage had been done and we were leaving anyway.... I was disappointed in the way the complaint was handled. It was extremely annoying that some visitors had no respect for rules posted and Quiet hours were not enforced. For the cost of the site, and under the circumstances, what we received was underwhelming! My suggestion if you want to use this facility is to read all the reviews. If you can tolerate unexpected loud campers this campsite has a lot to offer.
