Campground Overview

Pineaires Resort is a family and retirement seasonal campground and cottage resort only a few minutes away from the small town of Buckhorn. Located on Sandy Lake, Pineaires is fortunate to boast one of the most beautiful lakes in all of the Kawartha - the weed free lake and turquoise colour gives a lake a Caribbean feel. The incredible fishing will entertain both the novice and expert fisherman! In Sandy Lake you will find: blue gill, sunfish, small/large mouth bass, pickerel, crappie, and even musky!

Winding roads amongst thick forest offer privacy, shade, and the feel of a small resort. With hydro (30 amp), water, and sewer, you will have everything you need for family camping! Our private waterfront, three bedroom cottages each have a deck overlooking the tall white pines surrounding them, and beautiful views of the water. Fully equipped with all your kitchen essentials, our cottages offer the perfect spring, summer, or fall getaway for friends and/or family!
