Campground Overview

Islandview Resort is a family, pet free, spacious seasonal trailer park on the shores of Clear Lake in the Kawartha's. We have 30 sites, all with water/sewer and hydro 30A or 50A metered service. We have wifi, beautiful washrooms with laundry facilities, nice sandy beach, with clean flowing water for swimming. There is docking, marina with gas, diesel, and pumpouts, as well as a seasonal restaurant on site, Lock 27 Tap & Grill.

Directions

Follow 115/35 from the 401 east of Bowmanville north to Peterborough, then take Hwy 7 East "Ottawa" until you reach Hwy 28 North " Bancroft",. Follow highway 28 north to Youngs Point, turn right at the lights ( just past the bridge ) and follow the road to the stop sign at River Avenue. Turn left on River Avenue and follow the road to the end.

Our Mandate

Camping In Ontario, also known as Ontario Private Campground Association (OPCA), is a member-based Association, comprised of small businesses located throughout the Province of Ontario. Our Association was started in 1969 by a group of campground owners that wanted to improve their businesses. While the way we do things has changed over the years, our mandate remains the same:

"As a vital and active stakeholder in tourism, Camping In Ontario supports member campgrounds in the Province of Ontario by educating campground owners, marketing camping in Ontario to the general public and advocating to government."
