Campground Overview

30 km north of Peterborough to Lakehurst. This quiet family campground has much to offer. Located on beautiful Buckhorn Lake. We have large, naturally wooded sites with:
• Fireplaces and picnic tables
• Sandy beach, playgrounds, tennis, basketball
• Beach volleyball, fishing, hiking
Family fun for all! Stores nearby. Sorry, no pets.

Directions

Take Hwy 401 to 115/35 exit N toward Peterborough.
Take 7 to Fowlers Corners.
R on 1 to 18 (Chemong Rd).
L onto 18 to Bridgenorth (Ward St).
Turn L at the second set of lights.
1st R over bridge; 16 through Ennismore.
Turn R at stop sign (Tara Rd).
Continue N across Gannons Narrows Bridge to 37 (Lakehurst Rd).
Turn R onto Allens Rd, Woodland Campsite sign, 209 Allen's Rd.

Camping In Ontario, also known as Ontario Private Campground Association (OPCA), is a member-based Association, comprised of small businesses located throughout the Province of Ontario. Our Association was started in 1969 by a group of campground owners that wanted to improve their businesses. While the way we do things has changed over the years, our mandate remains the same:

"As a vital and active stakeholder in tourism, Camping In Ontario supports member campgrounds in the Province of Ontario by educating campground owners, marketing camping in Ontario to the general public and advocating to government."
