Campground Overview

At Whistle Bare Campground, we have large seasonal sites available. Lots of mature trees. We are close to the Whistle Bear and Grand Valley golf courses. We are located in the countryside close to Cambridge and Kitchener, only minutes from the Homer Watson exit off Hwy 401. RV and boat storage also available.

Directions

From the 401W: Take Exit 275 and turn left onto Homer Watson Boulevard. Take the first exit of the roundabout onto Dickie Settlement Road, take your second right onto Whistle Bare Road and your destination will be on the right.

From the 401E: Take Exit 275 and turn right onto Homer Watson Boulevard. Take the first exit of the roundabout onto Dickie Settlement Road, take your second right onto Whistle Bare Road and your destination will be on the right.

Our Mandate

Camping In Ontario, also known as Ontario Private Campground Association (OPCA), is a member-based Association, comprised of small businesses located throughout the Province of Ontario. Our Association was started in 1969 by a group of campground owners that wanted to improve their businesses. While the way we do things has changed over the years, our mandate remains the same:

"As a vital and active stakeholder in tourism, Camping In Ontario supports member campgrounds in the Province of Ontario by educating campground owners, marketing camping in Ontario to the general public and advocating to government."
