Campground Overview

Steamboat Bay RV Resort is one of the region's newest RV destinations, with over 2,000 ft of Ottawa River waterfront and 21 full-service sites for seasonal campers. We offer new Northlander park models, or bring your own RV. Our site offers boat docks, a sand beach, over 20 miles of navigable water and some of Canada's best fishing.

Directions

From Ottawa: west on Highway 17 past Renfrew to Storyland Road. Turn right and continue for 3 miles to Bingham Road. Turn right and follow signs (approx 1/2 mile to Resort).

From Toronto: Highway 41 north to Renfrew; Highway 17 west as above.

From North Bay: east on Highway 17 to Hayley Station; left on County Road 653 north to Storyland Road. Turn right. Continue to Bingham Road (approx 1 mile), turn left and follow signs.

Our Mandate

Camping In Ontario, also known as Ontario Private Campground Association (OPCA), is a member-based Association, comprised of small businesses located throughout the Province of Ontario. Our Association was started in 1969 by a group of campground owners that wanted to improve their businesses. While the way we do things has changed over the years, our mandate remains the same:

"As a vital and active stakeholder in tourism, Camping In Ontario supports member campgrounds in the Province of Ontario by educating campground owners, marketing camping in Ontario to the general public and advocating to government."
