Campground Overview

Family camping at its best, 5 km west of Mindemoya on Lake Mindemoya. Safe sandy shores, private boat docking, large playground, clean modern washrooms and showers. General store and laundromat onsite. Good fishing. Virtually no mosquitoes or black flies. Your hosts: Randy and Tina Tolsma.

Directions

From South Baymouth: Take Hwy 6 N to Hwy 542, follow 542 into Mindemoya. Take Hwy 551/542 W to Monument Rd, take a R onto Monument Rd for approximately 2 km.

From Espanola: Take Hwy 6 S onto Manitoulin Island, then take Hwy 540 into M'Chigeeng, take 551 S toward Mindemoya. After approximately 5 km, you will see our sign to turn R onto Crosshill Rd; follow through to Monument Rd approx 8 km

Our Mandate

Camping In Ontario, also known as Ontario Private Campground Association (OPCA), is a member-based Association, comprised of small businesses located throughout the Province of Ontario. Our Association was started in 1969 by a group of campground owners that wanted to improve their businesses. While the way we do things has changed over the years, our mandate remains the same:

"As a vital and active stakeholder in tourism, Camping In Ontario supports member campgrounds in the Province of Ontario by educating campground owners, marketing camping in Ontario to the general public and advocating to government."
