We loved camping here with our grandchildren. However, if it is a hot summer they cannot supply 30 amp service as advertised. Last year, when it was hot, we could not stay at the site as it was over 100degress in the camper. Because it was a busy weekend nobody had the service. Last year they assured us that first upgrade they would be doing for 2017 was a hydro upgrade. NOT TRUE. They aren't going to do any upgrades. We were so looking forward to going back this year but when your air or even your microwave won't work-you can't stay there They should re do their website to let people know that if they are busy (5 or more campers in a row) they cannot provide 30 amp service

Grangeways RV Park & Family Campground: Hi Debi, Thank-you for your review as we are open to both positive as well as constructive feedback. As I mentioned to you in our earlier conversation that we added brand new transformers and upgraded our electrical system two years ago (2015) in our overnight area, not in 2017. Unfortunately we are at the very end of Hydro One's line and in extreme temperatures there are voltage fluctuations when everyone is running air conditioners. Some trailers with voltage sensors are more sensitive to these fluctuations. We understand your opinion and respect your decision not to return, maybe a 50amp service is better suited for your needs.
