Campground Overview

Welcome to Sun Retreats Turkey Point, a seasonal vacation park near the scenic shores of Lake Erie. Enjoy the quiet peace of southern Ontario’s wilderness by the shores of Lake Erie at Sun Retreats Turkey Point. We offer plenty of organized events for children and adults, as well as a swimming pool, 2 playgrounds, a games room and lots of sports, including a basketball court and horseshoe pits. Directions

From the north:
Take Hwy 24 S to Simcoe.
Continue on Hwy 24 as it becomes Norfolk St N/Old Hwy 24.
Turn L at Charlotteville East Quarterline Rd.
Turn L at Spooky Hollow Rd.
Turn R at Front Rd.
Continue on Front Rd (which becomes Mole Sideroad) to Hidden Valley Park (look for the “Sun Retreats Turkey Point” sign).

Our Mandate

Camping In Ontario, also known as Ontario Private Campground Association (OPCA), is a member-based Association, comprised of small businesses located throughout the Province of Ontario. Our Association was started in 1969 by a group of campground owners that wanted to improve their businesses. While the way we do things has changed over the years, our mandate remains the same:

"As a vital and active stakeholder in tourism, Camping In Ontario supports member campgrounds in the Province of Ontario by educating campground owners, marketing camping in Ontario to the general public and advocating to government."
