Campground Overview

Welcome to Sun Retreats Blue Mountains, a seasonal vacation park near the sandy shores of Georgian Bay. Here, you can enjoy sailing and sandy beaches along Georgian Bay. Minutes from great fishing. Surrounded by the woods of beautiful Beaver Valley and nestled in the Georgian Peaks, Sun Retreats Blue Mountains is the ideal place for hiking, boating, fishing or just sharing a spectacular sunset with family and friends.

There are plenty of planned activities for adults and children alike; horseshoes, badminton and basketball; and a number of scenic walking and biking trails for the whole family to discover. The resort also features a 4-foot-deep heated pool for our guests enjoyment. Be sure to check our website for a full description of park amenities.

From the west: From Owen Sound, head E on Hwy 26/16th St E. Continue on Hwy 26 to Grey Rd 2. Turn R and follow road to Craigleith Resort Park.

From the east: From Barrie, take Hwy 26 W. Continue on Hwy 26 to Grey Rd 2. Turn L and follow road to Sun Retreats Blue Mountains.

Our Mandate

Camping In Ontario, also known as Ontario Private Campground Association (OPCA), is a member-based Association, comprised of small businesses located throughout the Province of Ontario. Our Association was started in 1969 by a group of campground owners that wanted to improve their businesses. While the way we do things has changed over the years, our mandate remains the same:

"As a vital and active stakeholder in tourism, Camping In Ontario supports member campgrounds in the Province of Ontario by educating campground owners, marketing camping in Ontario to the general public and advocating to government."
